WHO WE ARE

The Street Hockey Association of Reading (STAR) is a "Volunteer Run" and section 501C goverment approved "non-profit" organization that provides youth sports opportunity to boys and girls ages 5 thru 16. Enrollment in STAR is open to chrildren from all of Berks County.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

"STAR's goal is to provide an affordable opportunity for area youth to participate in a high quality sports program, which promotes and encourages positive character development by emphasizing the values of teamwork, fun, and good sportsmanship and not over-emphasizing winning; while teaching the basic fundamentals of hockey."
